Ata o Hedared stave church

Hedared Stave Church by hansn

The only surviving medieval stave church in Sweden. A stave church has a construction of vertical planks or split logs. The church was probably erected in 1506. A small part of the building is dating from the 12th century so there was probably a church of the same type then.
